Most new homes are wired to the bare minimum
The electrical allowance in a standard build contract covers what is required, not what you actually need. That usually means too few powerpoints, no thought given to where your furniture is going, no data cabling, and no provision for an EV charger down the track.
Once the plaster goes on, adding a single powerpoint stops being a small job. Getting the electrical plan right before rough in is the cheapest decision you will make in the entire build
What a new home electrical package involves
Stage One, Rough In
Before the plaster goes up, we run all cabling through the frame, position every point, install the switchboard enclosure, and set up the circuits your home will run on. This is the stage where your plan gets locked in physically.
Stage Two, Fit Off
Once painting is done, we install and terminate everything. Powerpoints, switches, lights, fans, exhausts, smoke alarms, the switchboard, and final testing. We issue your Certificate of Compliance and walk you through the board before handover.

Free electrical plan review
Send through your floor plan and we will mark it up with you. Where the points should go, what your builder's allowance is missing, and what will cost you a fortune to add later. No obligation, and no charge.
It takes about twenty minutes and it is the difference between a home that works and one you spend the next five years running extension leads through.

We were recommended JRV Electrical for our kitchen and laundry renovations. We were extremely impressed with their reliability, quality of work and promptness from attending on site to provide a quote through to completion of their work. I have no hesitation in recommending JRV Electrical and will seek their services for any future electrical work.

Josh and the team have been at our house countless times over the last year, completing all our electrical work for our renovations. New kitchen, new down lights, installing ceiling fans, pool equipment, you name it! The boys have come up with any solution to a problem and always get the work done to an extremely high standard and quickly, leaving no mess behind! They are a bunch of legends, and we recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Had Josh and the team do multiple projects around my house, and couldn't recommend a better company. They worked within the time frame I needed. Worked very efficiently and just did an amazing job. Will definitely use JRV again for future projects.
