Why Is My Switchboard Tripping, Buzzing Or Running Hot?
Older switchboards were not designed for the power demands of modern homes. If yours is tripping regularly, making buzzing or crackling sounds, running warm to the touch, or still uses ceramic fuses instead of circuit breakers, it is a sign your electrical system is being pushed beyond its limits. In some cases it can be a fire hazard.
